Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Lunz has successfully handled more than 100 reinstatement proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, as well as the European Patent Office for law firms and service providers. Mr. Lunz has extensive experience in the field of reviving and restoring IP rights that have lapsed accidentally (restitutio in integrum). Furthermore, he supervises and assesses restoration proceedings and, in particularly critical cases, also prepares second opinions with respect to the best way of rescuing inadvertently expired IP rights.
