Munich: Meissner Bolte PartG mbB and DeAnna-Patent merge

On January 1, 2020, the law firms of Meissner Bolte and DeAnna-Patent, both based in Munich, joined forces and will continue to jointly trade under the name: Meissner Bolte.

Dr. Pier Luigi De Anna, European Patent and Design Attorney and Consulente in Brevetti (Italian Patent Attorny), Dr. Markus Baur, German Patent Attorney, and Diana Lipecka, Abogada (Spanish Lawyer).

Prior to founding DeAnna-Patent, Dr. Pier Luigi De Anna was an Examiner at the European Patent Office in The Hague and Munich, and was responsible for examining patent applications in the fields of: materials science, electrochemical technologies, inorganic chemistry and thin coating processes. Pier Luigi represents both national and international clients at all stages of patent prosecution through to litigation proceedings. Pier Luigi focusses on the technical fields of inorganic and organic chemistry; pharmaceuticals; computer-implemented inventions and mechanical engineering, in particular: medical technology, piping systems and pipe connections. Pier Luigi is fluent in English, Italian, German and French.

Dr. Markus Baur is a graduate chemist with a doctorate in organic chemistry. Markus works primarily in the fields of organic chemistry, polymer chemistry and pharmaceuticals, as well as in the field of mechanical engineering, with a particular focus on plastics processing techniques. Markus is fluent in both English and German.

Ms. Diana Lipecka studied law in Poland and Spain, and is a qualified Abogada (Spanish Lawyer). Diana focuses her practice on trademarks, specialising in trademark registration, trademark monitoring, trademark oppositions, trademark cancellation proceedings and coexistence agreements. Diana speaks English, Spanish and Polish fluently.

The DeAnna team brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of IP law – both nationally and internationally, as well as broadening our services into further European legal systems. Together Meissner Bolte and DeAnna are now able to provide legal advice in each of the key IP jurisdictions in Europe: Germany, the UK, Spain and Italy.
