On 1 May 2018 Meissner Bolte opens a new location in Dusseldorf/Ratingen. The new business unit works together with patent attorney and lawyer Prof. Dr. Dr. Fitzner (66), who has an outstanding reputation on the market, particularly in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry and process engineering. “The co-operation with such a powerful unit as Meissner Bolte offers our firm an excellent future perspective", Prof. Fitzner explains this step. The final merger of the law firms will then take place at the turn of the year.
The large number of disputes in which Prof. Fitzner plays a leading role speaks for itself. “Through our co-operation with Prof. Fitzner, we are able to render services at Europe's most important Patent Litigation location even more prominently. Meissner Bolte is currently involved in more than 20 proceedings before the Dusseldorf courts. The direct presence on the spot is a clear sign for our national and international clientele, in particular in view of the UPC ", says Dr. Tobias Wuttke (Meissner Bolte).
In order to be even closer to the courts, a move to the Dusseldorf centre is on the agenda. “Dusseldorf is highly attractive for Meissner Bolte in view of the existing collection of leading national and international companies as well as the large catchment area", explains Dr. Claus D. Opatz (Meissner Bolte).
Meissner Bolte is one of Germany's leading intellectual property law firms . At present, the team of patent attorneys and attorneys at law consists of 18 partners and 49 associates and currently advises at a total of twelve locations in Europe.
